  • Information Memorandum - like anything you are selling, it needs to stand out from the competition and represent the real opportunity that your business offers. The IM (information Memorandum) is the document that does this and as part of our grooming service we produce it for you. It should detail the company's history, performance to date, around a wide range of measures, and also detail the opportunities and plans for the future.
  • Staff Structuring - for your business to be attractive to an investor or buyer, it needs to be able to show that it cannot only survive but also thrive when you are no longer involved. We will help you get the right staff structure in place, including recruiting any key individuals that give the investors or buyers the confidence they need in the long term performance and security of the business.
  • Maximise The Value - the most common way to value a business is a multiple of its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation). We will work with you to quickly increase your profit as well as carrying out a range of activities that will increase the multiple.
  • Legal And Financial Document Preparation - when selling a business there is a large amount of information required, the bulk of which is legal and financial information. Using our check list we help you to collate this information in readiness for the inevitable and varying requests.
  • Future Forecasting - typically the best way to increase the value of the business through the multiple applied to its EBITDA and/or the amount of interest from perspective buyers, is to lay out a really clear and realistic plan for future growth. We will walk you through this process establishing the very best future forecast for your business.
  • Due Diligence Support - once you have found your buyer and entered in to the due diligence process, the requests for more information are much greater. It is important that during this stage of the sale the business focusses on keeping everything "business as usual" and delivering its results. We enable that to happen by supporting you with all the requests you get and also handle the collation of this information.
